For your consideration:

Wayne Mason, my husband, my partner in Mason & Wolf Wallpapers, and sometime-poster here on the board, contributed an article to the current issue of Old-House Interiors  magazine (February 2010), on his research into the origins of our "Butterfly Frieze" paper, a pattern we now feel confident in attributing to the great British designer Bruce J. Talbert (1838-1881).

'Tis a rollicking story that careens from Liverpool (ca. 1880) to the British Patent Office to an antiques shop in South Jersey (New Jersey, that is, not the Isle of...), and even though my ever-so minor supporting role as "the wife" was lost on the editorial room floor, I think it is an excellent read, and that you might enjoy it as well.

With apologies for the shameless spousal promotion~

I am very much looking forward to reading the article!

Do you have any new patterns in the works for future release?
