I am totally new to antiques...but, I will close in 10days on a 110yr old house in NC (Inner Banks region). At an estate auction last weekend, we purchased a 5pc Victorian Parlor Set.
The auctioneer said it was made by KARPEN, but I do not see the "KARPEN Guaranteed..." tag on any of hte pieces. I'm posting a few photos (of the entire set and then detail off of one of the chairs). Also, I could not find any other tags, labels, etc.
When it comes to this stuff, '...I don't know what I don't know...'.
Help on identifying this set would be greatly appreciated.
Do you know the mfgr of our 5 pc Parlor Set

I would concur with the Karpen attribution.
Certainly "Karpen-esque", if not Karpen proper.
Thank you for your responses... I appreciate it .

"Karpen" was my first thought, before I even read the text. Looks like we're all on board.
Congratulations on an excellent purchase!
