Not a well organized site Hal Hunt has. Once you get to http://www.halhunt.com - thats all there is. No link to their auction from that page...
I had to Google to get this: http://www.halhunt.com/auctions.htm
Auction detail is here: http://www.halhunt.com/Page%201%20Feb.html
Incredible stuff. Thanks for the heads up!

I had the same issue with the Hal Hunt site. The "front page" is coded to work in Internet Explorer, and only Internet Explorer. Firefox, Opera and Safari users, as you discovered, are on their own. :o

If it's part of a disassembled staircase I'm hoping that it came from a house that had to be demolished. It gets my dander up when I hear about houses being stripped. The "Loch Aerie"/Lockwood house has a $100k offer to take the stairways out. "Then we can then put in a commercial elevator".
While I don't mind "parts" living on instead of going to the dump. I don't like seeing them taken for profit alone from a perfectly good house.
Not sure what the case is with this one in the Hunt sale.

Wow! Very impressive collection - impressive is really an understatement here. Hard to imagine so much high end / big name furniture in a single collection. Some gorgeous gasoliers too. I've seen a few really nice auctions go through Hal Hunt's. Another amazing sale.
