Back to the issue of if the piece was a Horner. I have a dresser and a chest with the "hallmarks" of a Horner piece and the brass label. Could it still not be a piece manufactored by Horner, but a piece Horner shipped in?

Would love to show you the label but unable to attach if dispite all my efforts to reduce the size. I assumed it was brass, I did not tough it and its fixed to the furnature. is there another address I may use, for the purposes only of showing you the label and furniture? thanks
The label on the back of my Horner piece is metal and magnetic. Did he use this type of material for labeling his furniture? Both of my pieces have this label. Still unable to attach picture due to size. Would like to have someone confirm that this is a piece worthy of getting checked out. I have a chest with 5 drawers and a dresser with 6 drawers. Both have huge beveled mirrors, mahogany vaneer, brass hardware. I love these pieces but have to get them out of their current living conditions. Too much heat not enough humidity, dispite all attempt. they are deteriorating before my eyes and I cannot stand to see this happen to such great pieces. Have pictures of all can I get some advice on how to post pictures. Thank you!
I've attached the images that you sent me ...
Anybody have any thoughts on the above piece? I really need to move this furniture to a more hospitable environment and need any input? I would like to also find a media to promote the sell, I have never sold anything like this in size or value. Any input would be greatly appreciated. This chest, I have been calling it, is a part of a set. I have the more upright dresser with the accompanying mirror. Same label and mahogany vaneer.
Without a bed and without griffins in the style, it's not going to be a home-run sale like some Horner pieces can be. Here are a few examples at auction which sold; one which sold twice:

The fastest way to sell it would be on Ebay since there is a deadline - 3, 5, 7, or 10 days. If you are new to selling on Ebay you can Google some Ebay Selling 101 articles as well as read the tutorials on Ebay here.
A local auction house near you might have weekly or bi-monthly sales and might be a relatively fast and easy way to sell it. A more upscale auction house might have less regular sales but might garner higher prices for you. It appears from your IP address that you are near Denver, CO, so here's a link to find local auctions.
I can also talk to you about promoting it on RJHorner.com. You can read a basic overview of the most common ways to advertise on these sites xhere.
In general, those that seek to buy Horner pieces look for the more ornate styles with griffins, man-of-the-mountain, etc, so your set will garner a modest premium over unlabeled pieces by other makers. The price can vary widely based on where and when you sell it plus some luck that the right seller will come along when you have your set offered for sale. Nice set.

This is an inherited set. The bed that is with this set I do not believe is a Horner but has a label of Cedar Rapids, it is a four poster with pinapples spindles. I will have to check to verify the maker. The issue they do have is the vaneer is seperating from the base wood in some areas on both pieces. How much does that effect the value?
Since I have never seen another piece like this where do I start on value? I like the ebay idea. I value the piece as a work of art and sentimentally, but do not want to give it away in the same token. I actually have several other pieces I also inhereter, a pair of Eastlake chairs, a marble top table. thank you for any info.
