We're renovating the entrance hall in a 1880's apartment building in Hoboken, NJ and are looking for some visual reference materials that might guide us. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

visual reference materials that might guide us. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
America's Painted Ladies by Pomada and Larsen - about 1/2 exterior and 1/2 interior visual guide.
Victorian Interior Decoration - American Interiors 1830 - 1900 by Winkler and Moss - If you're looking to get real authentic and don't mind less pictures relative to text.
Victorian American Restoration Style by Brierton - Real world stories of Victorian restorations with suggestions and guidance to apply to your own project
Victorian Splendor by Leopold and Heyert - "Re-Creating America's 19th-Century Interiors"
Victorian House Book by Guild - Good cross-section of surfaces, fabrics, bookcases, mantels, etc. in every type of room

The following may be less relevant to your particular project
Victorian Kitchens & Baths by Schmidt & Schmidt - Lots of visual reference for kitchens and baths.
Victorian Exterior Decoration by Moss and Winkler - Excellent exterior reference

I have several more, but these are the ones I like best.
I forgot two other favorites because they were in another bookcase:

Caring For Your Historic House by the Heritage Preservation and National Park Service - focuses on restoration of original materials, systems and structure
Renovating Old Houses by George Nash -  Another nuts and bolts guide on fixing, repairing, restoring original systems, structure, and materials
Thanks!
