Desk is 54" wide/42 3/4" high/43" deep. How do I maximize the value; restore and sell, sell as is or sell for value of wood to restoration specialist?
I have a mahogany roll top desk with the name "T. G. Sellew, 111 Fulton St. NY" stamped on the center draw bottom. The piece is in need of restoration and I am trying to determine what value it has in its current condition and what value it may have restored. My digital camera is in repair so I can't post photos until next week. In the meantime does anyone have any info on T.G. Sellew?
Now have photos! Does anyone know the desk maker T. G. Sellew?

Michael O'Docharty might know something. He has an attributed Sellew desk at his store: http://www.trocadero.com/MichadiAntiques/items/511596/item511596store.html
