EXCEPTIONAL Rosewood sewing stand. One of the finest pieces of workmanship we have EVER seen, anyw Each basket is tapered with fine rosewood turnings supporting the circular molded rosewood tops. The base of these "baskets" are turned discs of rosewood. The post is turned with rope twists on the top section, the second section is a beehive type turning which leads to a large finial. Flaring out from this are 4 legs, each leg is 5 seperate pieces of rosewood. This is a museum quality piece, finish is original and cleaned except some new turnings which have been blended to match originals. Minor old repairs to ring. This piece is made entirely of solid rosewood. I can go on and on about this great piece of Rococo Victorian furniture! $1350
