Although not victorian, this sale had some really good shaker stuff available. I was notified and meant to save some items to my " watched lots" list on artfact however, i was traveling and forgot. Anyone here have a paid account with artfact and could look up what item #5 went for ?

OK, Willis Henry has not released the numbers yet for this Shaker sale but i emailed and they sent me the list today. I follow Shaker not only as a collector but also to get a feel as to the price point of American antique furniture in general. Although one auction by itself is only a snapshot at a single point in time, it does offer some info on where prices are at the moment. Shaker has had the ability over the years to maintain its price point no matter what else is going on in the market, this auction was no exception. Listed below are some of the more important pieces.
Lot # Estimate Hammer Price
5 $8,000-12,000 $10,530
20 $6,000-12,000 $58,500
