I'm considering the purchase, in a few years, of one of my city's most stunning Victorian homes. The home, built in 1869 and seen here, was destroyed in 2003 by a crazy woman who got away with her terrible destruction of the house 4 months prior to this district being declared a federal Heritage District. You can see the results of what she did here.

For the time being, I'm trying to evaluate how much work it would take to restore the house. As I'm pretty confident none of the molding nor decor still exists, it would all have to be recreated. I'm curious if any of the window casements, the vergeboard, the porch column and details, etc. are typical of Gothic Revival or Victorian design. I know the pictures are small, so I don't expect much. All I'm looking for is if any of the detail is typical, as in, it was from a general pattern or trend on this sort of design, or if it's all custom and would have to be hand drawn and surveyed from photos.

Also, one last question. What is the proper name for the 1/1 double-hung windows seen on this house? They are unusually long, and I've had trouble finding any info on windows of this particular size.

Thank you!
