Mid-19th Century Textiles
The Textile Blog has a post today regarding Interior Textiles of the Mid-Nineteenth Century that may be of interest to the folks with an interest in the "R" Revivals (Rococo and Renaissance).
Nice drawings. The picture remind me a lot of the pictures from "The Curtain Book" by Caroline Clifton - Mogg and Melanie Paine. Very similar colored drawings style, but different. The author of the page also has a flickr acount and postings - here is the link to his page w/ textiles grouped by year from 1800 on, in 10 year groupings (1810, 1820, etc.) http://www.flickr.com/photos/dis-order-ed/collections/72157604608259717/ - there is even some Aesthetic fabric there.
He also has many nice pictures of Victorian interiors and interior decoration. Here is the link to his photostream of Victorian interiors http://www.flickr.com/search/?ss=2&ct=6&w=24805436@N00&q=victorian+interior&m=text woodwright
