In 2006, Richard Machmer & Donald Shelly, 2 giants in the Pennslyvania-German collecting world died within a few weeks of each other. Pook & Pook handled the Shelly collection about a year ago and now they have the Machmer collection up for auction oct. 24/25. These guys collected the very best. Caution: this is not victorian furniture.
