Thanks to John for his ebonized bedroom post. Now that I've identified the maker, I want to know the value if anyone has a guess. Also, what about refinishing it? I think my grandmother painted it red. Can I do it or do I need a pro? Thanks, KP

This one screams "pro refinisher!"

I wouldn't want to mess with it, for fear of messing it up.
Thanks. Got any guess on the value? Also, take a look at the cheval mirror I posted. Appreciate any ideas on its source. KP
