I have a pair of side chairs that I just love. They are heavily carved floral with shell tops.
any ideas on who made them? if they are american or french, etc? and an idea of the time period?
Thanks,
Shay

Hi..you have a nice pair of American walnut parlor chairs. There probably would have been a matching sofa at one time. I would date them to 1870s..I doubt they are Roux...just a good East Coast American maker..
