I found a few similar settees in similar forms, but they seem to be a 'cheaper' looking versions without the detail this chair has.  I am well aware its not a 'high end' piece but I was wondering if anyone had a clue as to manufacturer? Thanks

Nice chair but very difficult to attribute to any particular maker. These were used primarily as accents in the parlor and i would say it came from a larger city manufacturer. Unusual pieces like your chair add a lot of interest to your decor. I tend to just enjoy having them rather than worry too much who made it. Perhaps someone else in the forums can be of more help.

Here's a chair I have that is similar in purpose if not in design,
