We have a Renaissance Revival bed and dresser with the George Croome makers name branded on a dresser drawer. We know that the bed was made in Boston prior to 1870 due to the address on the brand but would welcome additional information concerning this maker.

Bostonians were also attracted to the curved ornament of the rococo revival. While most of George Croome's advertisements seem to rely on Gothic-style furniture as a trademark, this piece shows that his shop catered to all tastes.
